Are you doubting your wedding dress?

October 10, 2016

As the bride-to-be, you want to look picture-perfect on your wedding day – and your dress is a huge part of the entire event. What happens when you feel you haven’t chosen the right wedding dress? What are some telling signs that you may have chosen a dress that’s not entirely you? We have some tips for you – so read on and find out more.

  • First of all, you should definitely consider the idea that you might be simply anxious. A lot of brides feel nervous about their wedding-related decisions – not because they were wrong choices, but because there’s a constant feeling of anxiety and stress preceding the wedding day. So we suggest you sit down, take some time off wedding planning and see what you think of your dress when you “come back” to planning the Big Day.

  • If you haven’t had the wow moment everyone’s been talking about though, it may be that you have actually chosen the wrong dress. Trust us, when you put on the one, you will feel truly “at home”!

  • Also, if you constantly think of another wedding gown as the “better option”, it may be because what you have already chosen is not right for you. Likewise, if you feel you are obsessing over your wedding dress (and not in positive terms), it may also be because you have chosen the wrong one.

  • Last, but definitely not least, if you feel you’ve been rushed or pushed into making a decision (e.g. your budget was too tight or you felt that you were running out of time), it may be that the dress you have chosen is not your true dream wedding gown.
