Make sure you get enough rest before the wedding

Remember when your grandma told you every lady should get her beauty sleep? As it turns out, that was completely true – you do need proper sleep, every night to look and feel truly great. Given the uniqueness of your Big Day, it is perfectly understandable why you need to sleep even better before this huge life event.

How to do this, especially with all the stress and anxiety dominating your thoughts? We have some tips for you – so read on and find out more.

  • First of all, stop multitasking. You may think you’re getting more things done this way, but the harsh truth is you aren’t - you are only doing more things at once, at minimum efficiency and setting your brain on “work” mode for far more than necessary.

  • Create a proper sleeping schedule. Not only is it important to get enough hours of sleep every night, but it is also crucial to get them regularly – every night, between a certain time span. Create a sleep routine to help you get sleepy every night at the same hour. It will do wonders!

  • Work out. Yes, working out can actually help with bad sleeping patterns – as long as you don’t do it before bed time, of course. Working out will energize you, so it’s not a good idea to do it in the evening (or even worse, late at night). Create a workout routine as soon as you wake up – it will help you function better during the day, it will ease off the anxiety, and it will also help you sleep better during the night.
