Long hair is extremely versatile when it comes to wedding styles – so it’s really no wonder why so many brides choose to grow their hair for the big day. How do you do that, though? How do you grow your hair naturally, and in a truly healthy way?
We have some tips for you – so read on and find out more.
Use the right shampoo. Although it may not seem like much, the wrong shampoo can actually damage your hair. Try to find a gentle product and always use conditioner too (but just from the ear level downwards – you don’t need to put conditioner near your roots).
Massage your scalp – preferably, with a hair-strengthening product. Massing your scalp has two main benefits: that of stimulating blood flow (and thus, hair growth), and that of ensuring the follicles aren’t blocked by various build-ups (and therefore, ensuring the hair is free to grow unhinged).
Avoid the pony tail – and if you absolutely must pull your hair up, be sure to alternate the styles and the level at which you pull it up. Doing the same pony tail every day will most likely result in the hair breaking (and slow down its growth).
Trim it regularly. Despite popular belief, regular hair trims can actually help your hair grow faster and healthier – so be sure to get your hair trimmed every now and again.
Eat healthy. Of course, nutrition plays a huge role in hair growth! In general, it is recommended that you eat omega-3 rich foods – but proteins and good supplements can play a very important part too.
